The overarching theme of this year’s seminar is German Angst and the Penchant for Stability, with the following topics:

  • Politics and History
  • Digitalization
  • Germany in the EU
  • Literature
  • Art
  • Germany and Immigration

The seminar is intended for colleagues with German B or C. However, colleagues with German A are equally welcome.

Fees (including all the activities mentioned above):

  • Before 15.02.2019:
    AIIC-members: € 850.-
    Non-AIIC members: € 950.-
  • Until 15.05.2019 :     
    AIIC-members: € 950.-
    Non-AIIC members: € 1050.-

Travel and hotel expenses to be paid by participants.

Minimum number of participants: 15, maximum: 25. 

We urge you to register as soon as possible, so that we can finalize our planning.

Observation: There are no interpretation exercises. Terminology and language will be discussed jointly.

There is a follow-up option for an interpreting workshop in Cologne for German as a B- or C language. Please indicate whether you are interested!
